Discount pool membership deadline in LMT

You know how every year you hit your forehead when you realize you missed the deadline for getting a cheaper membership to the community pools in Lower Merion Township? Well, this year, don't blame us.

Discount pool membership deadline in LMT

Yes, it's still cool outside, but if you think "pool" now, you'll save yourself a few bucks. The first deadline for getting a cheaper membership to the Belmont Hills or Ardmore Avenue Pools is Friday, April 19. We're talking about Lower Merion and Narberth residents. There are a few memberships still available for non-Township residents at both pools. At Belmont Hills, the price for a full seaon pass/families up to 3, is $329 until Friday, and $362 after. At the Ardmore pool, the same family pass is $71 this week and $78 afterward. All the rates are the same as last years, said township spokesman Thomas J. Walsh.

So put on that coconut-smelling sunscreen, make sure last year's swimsuits still fit the kids, and get in your membership application. For more information, visit the township pools web page.
