Ordinarily when you dial 911, you probably don't give a hoot what the operator is wearing.  But today, maybe it will bring a little cheer to know that the person on the other end of the line is wearing a really ugly sweater.

Staff at the Montgomery County Emergency Communications Center today tweeted this photo of their Ugly Sweater Party.

Appliques, quilting, and pom-poms, oh my!

It's nice to know that the people in this stressful, understaffed job can let off a little steam now and then and get in the spirit even when they're working through the holidays.
