Artist Howard Watson will host an art show for charity Sunday, Oct. 14 at Ristorante Toscano, 213 N.  Broad St., Lansdale.

Hours are 1 to 4 p.m. Proceeds benefit For Pete's Sake Cancer Respite Foundation, a non-profit that assists cancer patients aged 24 to 50 and their families.

Inspired by the late Peter R. Bossow, Jr., For Pete's Sake Cancer Respite Foundation offers the cancer patient and family a retreat, such as a one-week respite in Orlando, Fla., the Poconos, the Jersey Shore, California, the Caribbean and the Carolinas.

Watson is a nationally-known watercolorist and illustrator. Discover Lansdale is a non-profit committed to promoting and maintaining a viable, safe and clean community.

This show is a second in a series sponsored by both Discover Lansdale and Ristorante Toscano and others. It runs through Nov. 2. For information, contact John Bruno, owner of Ristorante Toscano, at 215-362-8002.
