Calvin Klein's fall is all about belts
Waist interest - details that highlight the mid-section - is a key phrase in fashion right now.
And judging from Francisco Costa's fall 2013 collection at Calvin Klein, Costa definitely got the memo.
In keeping with the Calvin Klein aesthetic, Costa designed clean and structured garments for the women's wear collection.
He made suits in navy blue, black and shades of green. He boldly put cut outs in the back and played with hems on skinny pant legs. But it was the belts that made the apparel sing. Some were monochromatic wraps cinched tightly around leather trenches. Others were bold and black with over sized silver buckles. It was all so smooth, slimming and neat.
Calvin Klein, like many of the designers at New York Fashion Week, gave futuristic silhouettes a classic feel.
