HAIR Makes Me Think About Skinny Cords

Last night I went to see Hair at the Academy of Music with Jenice Armstrong. Aside from feeling jazzy as I snapped  to the beat of the popping, yet risque musical, I  found myself intrigued with the fashion. The setting was New York 1967, but the actors all look like they stepped out of an Urban Outfitters/Anthropologie/Free People Catalog in 2012. Boho Chic lives on!

The musical reignited my love for skinny corduroys. The best news about the booty-hugging britches is one doesn't have to be skinny to wear them; The right  corduroys - especially my black ones courtesy of Madewell keeps me looking slim and feeling trim.
