World Cafe To Celebrate Its 20th, with Feist

This October, the World Cafe - that's the syndicated WXPN-FM radio show, hosted by David Dye, as opposed to the World Cafe Live, the venue located in the same building as XPN - will celebrate it's 20th anniversary.

This October, the World Cafe - that's the syndicated WXPN-FM radio show, hosted by David Dye, as opposed to the World Cafe Live, the venue located in the same building as XPN - will celebrate it's 20th anniversary. The first big fish hooked for the radio show's celebratory weekend's worth of shows at the WCL is Feist, the nom de song of Canadian singer Leslie Feist, who will be opening her U.S. tour there on Oct. 29th. Feist, whom you know at the very least as the star of a "1 2 3 4" iPod Nano commercial from days of yore, has a new album, Metals, due out Oct. 4.  One of seven (very) short impressionistic video previews of the album is below.
