Without Demi Lovato, How Will We Go On? Hunter Hayes Will Have To Do

Bye bye Demi, hello Hunter.

Without Demi Lovato, How Will We Go On? Hunter Hayes Will Have To Do

Teen pop star Demi Lovato has pulled out of the Philly 4th of July Jam, the free fireworks and music Independence Day celebration set for Thursday night on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

Lovato, who spent time in rehab in 2010 and whose father, who she was estranged from, died last month, dropped out of the Jam due to a strep throat. Her spot on the bill, which also includes The Roots, John Mayer, Jill Scott, Ne-Yo, Grace Potter and Ben Taylor, will be taken by clean cut 21 year old country star Hunter Hayes, who is apparently close friends with Stevie Wonder as well as being quite popular with the teenage girl demographic Lovato specializes in.  See the clip from this year's Academy of Country Music awards below.
