What's A Wilco?

When Wilco last came through the vicinity last July, the Chicago band, who were promoting the then brand new Wilco (the album), got busy with a giant celery stick at Frawley Stadium in Wilmington.  (See Ryan Cormier's Pulp Culture blog here for pictorial evidence.)  It's taken Jeff Tweedy and company that long to swing back around, but the long time well-respected alt-rock band - who were the subject of a CBS Sunday Morning piece last summer that showed off Tweedy's son Spencer's drumming skills and asked 'What's A Wilco?' - are finally pulling into Philadelphia with a show at the Electric Factory on Saturday. And in other Wilco news, the band will curate its own Solid Sound Festival in North Adams, Mass. this August. Tickets for that go on sale this morning, right here.
