U2 was the musical guest on the Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show debut last night.

The four Irishmen sang their new single "Invisible" on the Rockefeller Center rooftop, and did an acoustic version of the Oscar-nominated "Ordinary Love," with Will Smith watching from an adjacent chair and The Roots coming in to take the performance over the top.

The Philadelphia band - who Fallon praised profusely in his opening monologue - also backed debuted their funked-up new Tonight Show theme song and backed up Fallon and Smith in an amusing "Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing" bit. Watch all three clips below.

Inquirer TV critic David Hiltbrand's review of Fallon's debut is here.
