Watch: D'Angelo pays tribute to Prince on 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon'

"Sometimes It Snows In April"

On Tuesday night, Tonight show host Jimmy Fallon and Roots drummer Questlove told a very funny about Prince and ping pong.

Last night, the tribute to the late Minneapolis pop star, who died last week at 57, got seriously musical. Seated at a piano, D'Angelo sang "Sometimes It Snows In April," the mournful closing cut from Prince's 1986's album Parade. Princeess, the Prince cover band featuring Maya Rudolph and Gretchen Liebrum, handle the accompanying vocals. It's heartbreaking stuff.
