The Springsteen Fallon Hour

The Springsteen hour on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon got off to a bizarre and most amusing start, with Fallon doing his dead on Neil Young imitation on a cover of Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair," before being joined by a guy in a snap brim hat and a beard who looked as if he walked off the cover Time magazine, circa 1975. It's viral, and it's down below.

Fallon opened the Emmy Awards this year by doing "Born To Run" with the cast of Glee, and he acquitted himself pretty well in the interview chair with Springsteen and Steve Van Zandt. Nice Bell Biv Devoe joke.  The Boss, Roy Bittan and The Roots also did "Save My Love" and stuck around for "Here I Come" as the credits rolled.  The killer performance, though, was the epic "Because The Night" which ended with a ?uestlove standing O.
