Tandoori Chicken

I never knew about this song till I heard it on Breakfast With The Beatles on Little Steven's Underground Garage on Sirius/XM the other day. It's a Ronnie Spector song from 1971, an Apple Records B-Side that was on the flip of Spector's version of "Try Some, Buy Some," a song that later turned up on George Harrison's 1973 album Living In The Material World. Harrison wrote it with Phil Spector, and it's got a rock and roll swagger reminiscent of the earliest of Beatles sides. It made me think that there's must have been a whole lot of Indian take away ordered during the Let It Be sessions, and it made me so hungry that I had it for dinner, though not with a great big bottle of wine. Listen up here.
