Spike Jonze directs Beastie Boys and Santigold action figures

Mount Airy native Santi White - a.k.a. Santigold - did a guest vocal on "Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win," from the Beastie Boys return-to-old-school-form Hot Sauce Committee, Part 2. That song is now a single with an 11 minute video directed by Spike Jonze with a James Bondish/action movie story line somewhat reminiscent of the Jonze-directed clip for "Sabotage," from 1994's Ill Communication.

This time, though, it's not the in-the-flesh Beasties shooting back and forth at bad guys, but Ken doll versions of MCA, Ad-Rock an Mike D. who, with the assistance of a black Barbie Santigold and a Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer-style Yeti, succeed in making sure the good triumphs over evil. Watch below to see Santi save Mike D. from certain death by shark attack and Beastie haters.
