It's a big week for big rock. Grunge heavy hitters Soundgarden make their first Philadelphia appearance after taking a 14 year break, tonight at the Festival Pier on Delaware Avenue. (There's a also a pretty popular band called U2 playing at the Linc on Thursday.) a.d. amorosi's interview with Chris Cornell about "the living, breathing thing" that is Soundgarden is here. So far, the notices about the Seattle foursome's reunion tour have been positive. Below, Cornell, Kim Thayil et. al. rattle the "Rusty Cage," back in the day.
