Roots Album Pushed Back To 2010

Forget everything I've told you. Well, not everything. But forget the part about The Roots' How I Got Over hitting on Oct. 20. According to the Philadelphia and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon band's manager, Richard Nichols - and contrary to what it still says on the band's web site - the follow up to last year's Rising Down will not come out until 2010, with February as the target. They're still working on it, says Nichols. And they're also playing the Borgata on October 30.  Meantime, here's a teaser of Black Thought teaming up with Eminem on a cover of LL Cool J's "Rock The Bells," with ?uestlove on the drums and DJ Jazzy Jeff on the wheels of steel. It's from the VH1 Hip-Hop Honors show, which airs this coming Tuesday.
