New Amy Winehouse album due in December

Startlingly, there will be a new Amy Winehouse album on sale December 5, in time for the holiday shopping season. It's called Amy Winehouse Lioness: Hidden Treasures, and will contain 12 outtakes, alt versions and unreleased songs, culled from sesions with producers Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi.

The "Body and Soul" duet with Tony Bennett will be included, as will her bossa nova take on "The Girl From Ipanema," Elton John's "A Song For You" and The Zuton's "Valerie." Of the new songs, "Between The Cheats," is presumably about Blake Felder-Civil, the ex-husband of the smokey-voiced Brit vocalist, who died of alcohol overconsumption in July. A Winehouse rendition of the Shirelle's "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?," a version of which will be included on Lioness, is below.
