Maxwell To Play The Spectrum

It won't be just a a Rocktober musical celebration in the Spectrum's final month. Along with Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen and Leonard Cohen, R & B love man Maxwell will also bring his boudoir soul to South Philadelphia when he plays the slated for demolition venue on Oct. 3. BLACKsummers'night, Maxwell's first album in eight years, topped the Billboard charts when it was released last month, and has already moved half a million copies, an impressive feat in these days of diminished sales. Here's my review of his Borgata show in Atlantic City. Pearl Jam play the final Spectrum show on October 30. Below, the "Pretty Wings" video.
