Low Cut Connie at the Little Bar

There's something refreshingly louche about Low Cut Connie, the downright down-and-dirty foursome featuring songwriting from Cherry Hill's own Adam Weiner and Englishman Dan Finnermore. Get Out The Lotion, LCC's witty and raucous debut absorbs Jerry Lee Lewis and Charlie Feathers rockabilly moves into a much smarter-than-your-average rock-and-roll attack. And Weiner (also of Lady Fingers) can be quite seriously effective when he slows things down and broods, as he does below, on "Full Of Joy." a.d. amorosi's Inquirer preview is here.
