Loudo, for Mother's Day

I've got your basic warmed-hearted Mother's Day Sunday feature on Loudon Wainwright III in the Inquirer A & E section today. That's here. Loudo's got a fine new box set called 40 Odd Years, just out on Shout Factory. The Inky piece is bundled with a review of the Tell My Sister, an also excellent re-issue of the early work of Wainwright's late ex-wife Kate McGraggile and her sister Anna. Nobody writes songs about family as well as Wainwright, and below you'll find a recent performance from Australia, of his great and somewhat creepy mother-loving song, "White Winos," plus "Middle Of The Night" as a bonus.
