Cowboy-hatted homeboys Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw will headline Lincoln Financial Field next summer, filling up the house that Jeffrey Lurie built on June 16. That's a Saturday. Chesney - that's him on the left - brings his massively-popular, Jimmy Buffetized country-pop to football stadiums every summer. Since it opened in 2003, he's the non-athlete who's played the Linc the most.

Usually, Chesney, who didn't sound half-bad strumming an acoustic guitar and singing "You and Tequila" with Grace Potter on the CMA Awards last week, tops a multi-act bill, with Nashville stars on the rise like Miranda Lambert or Sugarland or the Zac Brown Band on the undercard. This time, however, he'll bring a similarly-sized superstar with him to share headlining status in McGraw, the son of Tug and wife of Faith Hill whose name is the title of a Taylor Swift song and whose "Something Like That" was played on the radio more than any song in any genre in the decade of the 00's. Tickets, which ranges from $258 to $33, go on sale Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. at www.philadelphiaeagles.com or via Ticketmaster.
