It's a Beautiful Bastille Day: U2 plays the Linc tonight

The breeze is cool, the humidity is low and Bono and U2 are not engaging in tax evasion. At least that's what The Edge takes great pains to point out in po'd letter to the editor published in the Baltimore Sun this week, refuting allegations made in a letter the paper published on July 7.

In other news, yeah, it's Bastille Day, and U2, on the seventh leg of the 360 Tour which began in Barcelona in June 2009, is finally in Philadelphia to make up the show originally scheduled for last July, which was rescheduled when Bono injured his back in Munich in May 2010. Will the Dublin Messiah whip out something French in honor of the occasion? Or perhaps bring a famous guy from New Jersey to pay tribute to Clarence Clemons? We'll find out tonight at Lincoln Financial Field. "Beautiful Day," which has been on the set list of late, is below.
