Gorillaz announce tour, cartoon band coming to Philadelphia in July


The British cartoon band Gorillaz have announced a North American tour in support of their new album Humanz. It will bring the Damon Albarn-led group to the Festival Pier at Penn's Landing on July 13.

Humanz is due out April 28. It pairs the band co-created by Tank Girl cartoonist Jamie Hewlett, who are best known for hits like "Clint Eastwood" and "Feel Good Inc," with a host of guests, including Vince Staples, Noel Gallagher, Danny Brown, Popcaan and D.R.A.M. It's the band's first non-fan club release since The Fall in 2010.
