Bob Dylan's Neverending Tour makes a stop in North Philadelphia on November 9 when the crusty old Bard plays the Liacouras Center on the Temple campus. This time through, Dylan, who played the Broad Street arena in 2000 when he toured with the Grateful Dead's Phil Lesh, will be serenading his public in support of both Together Through Life, his album of roadhouse blues that came out this spring, and Christmas In The Heart, a new disc of seasonal tunes which comes out Tuesday, and benefits anti-hunger organization Feeding America. So will the celebrated song-poet be singing Christmas songs donning a Santa hat and offering up kisses under the mistletoe? Don't count on it, but at 68, Dylan is still is full of surprises. Tickets go on sale Monday at 10 through ComcastTix.com

Hopefully Bob won't decide to take a walking tour of North Philly to check out the houses like he did in Long Branch NJ. BobbyD
The Liacouras Center? Are you kidding me? Ugh. This man should be at Kimmel Center or the Academy of Music. phl89
What North Philly is not that bad!!!!...LMAO. I mean it's not like it's like Afghanistan or Iraq at all!!!!!..LOL. fly4philly
Dylan has always liked the smaller, and sometimes weirder, venues. It will be great to have him here in any hall. jlacerra- Bob has played in more dangerous sites, such as voter registration drives with Black sharecroppers in the south in the early 1960's. Then of course, there was the VAtican concert for the Pope. He'll be fine.
You idiots really need to get out more. anon
