Ah, just what the Flyers needed _ news that the player penciled in as their top-line right winger had been injured.

Jake Voracek, 23, playing in the KHL while the NHL is in lockout mode, suffered a knee injury in a game Saturday and is expected to miss four weeks, according to his KHL team, HC Lev Praha.

If the NHL ever ends its labor dispute, the Flyers are counting on Voracek to be on their No. 1 line with Claude Giroux and Scott Hartnell.

After scoring a career-high 18 goals last season, Voracek signed a four-year, $17 million contract in late July.

By the way, the lockout has reached 22 days. And counting.

If the lockout ends before Voracek is ready to return, right winger Wayne Simmonds might move to the top line for the Flyers. Simmonds and Voracek are two of the seven Flyers playing in Europe during the NHL's labor stalemate.
