NEWARK, N.J. _ Defenseman Ryan "Bernie" Parent will be in the Flyers' lineup Friday in Game 2 against the New Jersey Devils.

Coach Peter Laviolette wouldn't confirm it, but it appears Lukas Krajicek will not play Friday.

Parent was a healthy scratch in Game 1, which the Flyers won, 2-1.

Devils captain Jamie Langenbrunner said today that the  Devils will "play with desperation" Friday as they try to avoid falling into a 2-0 hole.

The Flyers are 16-0 in series in which they have won the first two games.

"There's a little pressure because you can't lose two in a row," Devils winger Ilya Kovalchuk said. "We just have to bring our 'A' game _ our 'double-A' game with a lot of energy...right from the first second."

In his career, Kovalchuk has played in five playoff games _ all losses.

Fans are reminded they should bring tickets that say "Round 1, Home Game 1" to Sunday's 6 p.m. contest at the Wachovia Center.
