Flyers are nervous about playing the Pens in first round. Looks like they'll hope New Jersey takes care of business and wins their next two while the Flyers drop two and take 6th place and a first round matchup against Florida.

Pens lead season series over the last 4 years 12-11. During that time the Pens are also 8-3 in the last two playoff meetings and one of those years the Pens won the cup. The Pens were bounced early last year without the best two players in the world. The year before that they had a bad post season as 90% of teams that won the cup the year before have. I wouldn't call that chocking, that's playing to much hockey due to continued success year after year.

do people really think the flyers DON'T wanna play the pens??? what, are they scared of getting beat for the first time in sid's new crib? the way the season series has gone, philly could spot them a 2 goal lead every game and still pull off the sweep. bring on the play-pens.
