The NCAA's Frozen Four, which will bring together the nation's top college hockey teams at the Wells Fargo Center, has some local connections.

The NCAA's Frozen Four, which will bring together the nation's top college hockey teams at the Wells Fargo Center, has some local connections.

The 5 p.m. semifinal game on April 10 will match Union College against Boston College. Union is led by Flyers propsect Shayne Gostisbehere, a defenseman who is a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, presented to the nation's best player.

Boston College features diminutive forward Johnny Gaudreau, who attended Gloucester Catholic High and is favored to win the Baker Award. Gaudreau is a Calgary Flames prospect. 

In the other semifinal on April 10,North Dakota will meet Minnesota at 8:30 p.m. Both semifinals are on ESPN2.

The winners wil meet in the national championship game on April 12 at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN..

This year marks the first time the Frozen Four has been held in Philadelphia.
