Flyers trounce Leafs

   TORONTO _ Goalie Sergie Bobrovsky was is midseason form, and three rookies scored goals as the Flyers opened the exhibition schedule with a 4-0 win in Toronto on Tuesday night.

   The Flyers got goals from rookies Zac Rinaldo, Mike Testwuide and Sean Couturier, along with a power-play tally by newly acquired Wayne Simmonds.

   Defenseman Matt Carle had two assists for the Flyers, who scored three second-period goals.

   Bobrovsky, coming off a strong rookie season, made several acrobatic saves, especially during a five-on-three Toronto power play in the final period.
   The Flyers did not have any shutouts during last year's regular season.

   Ilya Bryzgalov will be in the nets Wednesday against the Maple Leafs at the Wells Fargo Center.
