Flyers winger Scott Hartnell, who injured his ankle blocking a shot Tuesday in Buffalo, will play Thursday night against visiting Nashville.

But winger Steve Downie will be a game-time decision, coach Craig Berube said after the morning skate.

Berube reiterated that he wants Downie to play with more intensity. He has been a healthy scratch for the last two games, and Berube said he has recovered from a recent upper-body injury.

Steve Mason (2.47 GAA, .917 SP) will start againt former Flyer Carter Hutton (2.95, .902).
