Emery starting vs. Calgary

Ray Emery will make his eighth straight start in goal, and newcomer Lukas Krajicek will be paired with defenseman Oskars Bartulis for Monday's game in Calgary, coach Peter Laviolette said after the morning skate.
Overall, Emery has a 2.73 goals-against average, but it was 2.04 _ with a .929 save percentage _ in his last six games at home.
This is Calgary's first game since its blockbuster deal with Toronto.
"I'm not concerned about them. I'm concerned about us and how we're playing," Laviolette said.

- I will tell you what's going to happen, they Flyers will sneak into the 6th, 7th or 8th seed and get rolled in the first round by either Washington, Pittsburgh or New Jersey. Then in the offseason, that salary cap that I am not aware of will handcuff Homer's chances of improving the team because we are overpaying guys like Briere, Gagne and Hartnell. This is almost as predictable as the Eagles playoff exits as long as Andy Reid is here. 2 franchises traveling the same direction and leading the city down the road of false hope. - Your logic stinks because Pittsburgh and Washington are just as clueless. They both sucked for 5-10 years and were granted high picks by the NHL. How else can you get an Ovechkin or Crosby? In Pitt's case a number one goalie Fluery, Crosby, Malkin, Staal, and Ryan Whitney. All top five picks and all were 1 or 2 except for Whitney. How can you do this if you dont suck and thier management stinks? Bad management almost led them to leave Pitt as well and fans werent supporting the team. So when you talk about clueless this word is reserved for teams like Pitt not the flyers. The Flyers are always good and go for it and dont have the time to tank for 5-10 years. - I am smart enough to know he doesnt suck and is obviously one of the top three players in the game. Its abviously a play on the rivalry but i dont expect you to understand, go follow the phillies and hop on that wagon.
