DALLAS - An ice storm in Dallas caused a power outage at the Dr. Pepper ice rink, forcing the Flyers to cancel their morning practice on Friday.

They play Dallas on Saturday afternoon -the game will go on -and will try to get over .500 for the first time this season. The Flyers are 13-13-2 after a 1-7 start.

Because practice was canceled, center Vinny Lecavalier was unable to skate and test his ailing back. Thus he will not play Saturday, coach Craig Berube said.

The Flyers are 2-1 on the six-game road trip; they scored the game's last five goals in Wednesday's 6-3 win in Detroit.
