Bryz gets nod in Winnipeg

WINNIPEG _ Ilya Bryzgalov, yanked from Monday's 5-2 loss in Toronto early in the second period, will get the start Tuesday night in Winnipeg.

WINNIPEG _ Ilya Bryzgalov, yanked from Monday's 5-2 loss in Toronto early in the second period, will get the start Tuesday night in Winnipeg.

Coach Peter Laviolette seemed to be leaning toward giving Brian Boucher his first start of the season, but that plan changed after Bryzglaov sat out the last 33-plus minutes on Monday.

The Flyers(5-7-1) will bring a 1-6 road record into the 8 p.m. game against the Jets (5-5-1), who will get defenseman Dustin Byfuglien back into the lineup. Byfuglien, who jump-starts the offense, missed the previous five games with an injury.

Al Montoya, who is 2-0 with a 2.67 GAA and .899 save percentage, will start for the Jets.

Harry Zolnierczyk was recalled from the Phantoms and will be in the Flyers' lineup. The Flyers hope he will bring speed and energy to an attack that has produced a total of nine goals in its six road losses.

Several Flyers are off to slow starts, including Claude Giroux, who is pointless in eight of the 13 games.
