Bryz Kids face Habs; Gus in lineup

Goalie Ilya Bryzgalov, the NHL's best goalie the last month, will continue to carry the workload Saturday night.

Bryzgalov will start for the 18th time in the last 19 games as the Flyers host Montreal and try to clinch a playoff spot.

The Flyers will clinch a playoff berth with a win; they can also secure a spot if they get one point and Buffalo loses to Minnesota in regulation, a shootout or in OT.

Or they could also clinch if Buffalo loses in regulation, AND Winnipeg loses in any fashion - or wins in a shootout against Nashville.

Bryzgalov's March stats are off the charts: a 9-1-1 record, a 1.24 goals-against average and a .956 save percentage. The numbers were bolstered by the NHL’s second-longest scoreless streak (249:43) since 1967-68.

Defenseman Erik Gustafsson has been recalled from the Phantoms and will replace Andreas Lilja, who is apparently sidelined with an undisclosed injury. Gustafsson gives the defense  much more speed than when Lilja is in the lineup.

Claude Giroux's dad and 60 fans from his hometown in Hearst, Ontario, traveled 17 hours on a bus for Saturday's game.
