Bryz, Giroux sit vs. Penguins

PITTSBURGH — The Flyers are giving team MVP Claude Giroux and goalie Ilya Bryzgalov a rest in Saturday's afternoon's meaningless game in Pittsburgh.

Officially, Giroux has an upper-body injury, the Flyers said. But if Saturday's game meant anything, he would be in the lineup.

Sergei Bobrovsky will start in goal against the Pens' Marc-Andre Fleury.

Flyers coach Peter Laviolette said he thought Bryzgalov was playoff-ready after a sharp performance in Thursday's 2-1 win over Bufflao. He said Bryzgalov had a busy March and wanted to give him a breather.
