Bruins lead Game 4

BOSTON _ Boston dominated the first period and built a 1-0 lead in Game 4 against the Flyers on Friday night.

Milan Lucic scored a power-play goal for the Bruins, who outshot the Flyers, 13-6, in the opening period.

After an opening flurry, the Flyers went 14:23 without a shot. They were outshot, 11-0, in that span.

As expected, rookie Sergei Bobrovsky started the game for the Flyers.

Coach Peter Laviolette cited Bobrovsky's play in relief in this series as the reason for selecting him.

Chris Pronger sat out his third straight game with an apparent back/hamstring injury.

Boston can sweep the series with a win Friday night.
