Boucher to face Bruins; Carcillo likely in lineup

BOSTON _ Flyers goalie Brian Boucher will start Saturday night in Boston.

Coach Peter Laviolette confirmed the decision after the morning skate, saying he liked the way Boucher played in Thursday's 4-1 victory in Toronto.

It will be Boucher's first appearance in Boiston since he injured both knees and was removed from Game 5 of last season's historic conference semifinals.

Laviolette would not reveal if Dan Carcillo would be in Saturday's lineup, but all signs point that he will replace Nik Zherdev.

The Flyers expect a physical game from the Bruins.

Carcillo left the ice with the regulars during the morning skate. Zherdev, Oskars Bartulis and goalie Sergei Bobrovsky stayed on the ice long after the regulars left.

Carcillo is expected to make his first appearance since suffering a knee injury on Nov. 15 against Ottawa.
