Betts signs with Flyers
options
 

  The Flyers finally signed fourth-line center Blair Betts today. He signed a one-year deal for $550,000.

    That is less money than last year. Now we see why they weren't coming to agreement. Hopefully it doesn't affect his play.

Sam Carchidi is in his fourth year as the Flyers' beat reporter. He became an Inquirer staff writer in 1984 and covered mostly South Jersey high school sports and the Phillies before taking the Flyers beat.
