With a small tent city that sprung up at Philadelphia's City Hall, the "Occupy Philadelphia" rally against corporate influence on politics took hold Thursday. But its impact - as those in New York and elsewhere - has yet to be assessed.

The protests are aimed at condemning the influence of big corporations on government.
