Would President Gingrich 'abolish' courts, 'End the Fed'?

Newt Gingrich is gaining on better-funded Mitt Romney because Gingrich understands Republican voters want radical change. If things are bad, maybe changing the money and legal system will help, they figure. Two examples:
1) Angry at the banks? END THE FED: About 7:50 into this tape of Gingrich'sSaturday night's South Carolina victory speech, the GOP presidential candidate says: "You have Dr. Ron Paul, who on the issue of money and the Federal Reserve, has been right for 25 years. And while I disagree with him on many other things, there is no doubt that a lot of his critique of inflation, of fiat money and of the Federal Reserve is absolutely the right direction and is something I can support strongly." 2) Angry at lawyers and the law? SUPPRESS THE COURTS: See Gingrich's white paper on the President's duty to fire federal judges who rule against his conception of security or religion: From Page 5: "A judicial branch that is largely unaccountable and not subject to meaningful checks and balances can - and does - routinely issue constitutional rulings that threaten individual liberties, compromise national security, undermine American culture, and ignore the consent of the governed... "
"In very rare circumstances, the executive branch might choose to ignore a Court decision. One can imagine such a circumstance when Courts attempt to usurp the foreign policy powers of the executive and legislative branches and such usurpation compromises the national security of the United States and threatens the safety of Americans...
"Should the Supreme Court issue decisions during a Gingrich administration that unconstitutionally empower federal judges with certain national security responsibilities, such decisions will be ignored." Gingrich argues that Lincoln and FDR likewise ignored court decisions, in the name of national security, during declared wars. Gingrich has also said he wants to go further, firing judges and "abolishing" courts he disagrees with, citing Jefferson as a precedent.
Gingrich is flip flopping all over the place. He's been using random beliefs of other candidates according to who his audience is. The sad thing is that dumb [people] are supporting him! phillyguerrilla
I would hope that Obama announces that he will abolish the banking industry of capitalism in order to protect our democratically controlled republic. Fernando08
