TechnicallyPhilly, the Harrowgate-based Web site run by Temple grads Christopher Wink, Brian James Kirk and Sean Blanda in their spare overtime, has taken modest steps toward self-sufficiency this fall.

Ad rep Tara Levin has landed a few paid postings (site claims 15,000 unique monthly visitors), Jobs Board ads have trickled in, and the site's planned News Inkubator www.newsinkubator.com "business services hub, collaborative newsroom and accelerator for hyperlocal news sites" is applying for foundation grants .

Meanwhile the site tells news like Apple hiring for its Walnut Street store, an update on realtime Twitter search ap Sency and its Philly-bred founder Evan Britton  (who looks like he won't be moving back here from LA soon after all), and a weekly Comcast news selection.
