Techstars' Philly Startup Weekend Nov. 11-13 - Reader discount

At City CoHo, 2401 Walnut

Sales are "rolling along" but there are "plenty of tickets" still available for Philadelphia Startup Weekend, the latest local edition of New York-based Techstars' "immersive experience" in translating business ideas "into something real." Goes down Nov. 11-13 at CityCoHo, 2401 Walnut St. (a short walk from 30th St. Amtrak/Septa/Megabus).

"Attendees will have 54 hours to pitch an idea, create a team and build and test a working prototype for an idea of their own," says Philadelphia engineer and volunteer Startup Weekend organizer Nicholas Gunther. "Teams will have access to a state-of-the-art co-working space and mentors from the thriving tech community at their disposal." Top prizes include free start-up legal services from corporate law firm Ballard Spahr.
