Study Hotels says it has signed a deal to build a 145,000 sq ft, 212 room hotel with meeting space, restaurant and fitness center at 33rd and Chestnut, on ground leased from Drexel University. Study Hotels is a brand of Hospitality 3,a New York company headed by Paul Gowan. In a statement, Drexel president John A. Fry called it "the next natural step in University City's evolution." Philadelphia designer Digsau is makign the plans. Study Hotels says it has a similar hotel at Yale University in Connecticut.
