"Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane will appoint a special prosecutor to investigate how Governor Tom Corbett handled the Pennsylvania State University child sex abuse case," reports Bloomberg here.

“The office will conduct a timely investigation that leaves no stone unturned,” Kane, a Democrat, told Bloomberg, in a story reported by Phil Milford in Wilmington and Romy Varghese in Philadelphia. "The findings will be made public, she said." Previous NY Times story here.

Can you expect anything more from a democratic hack? This democratic 1%-er's first order of business is to investigate a non-issue. Will she convene a special prosecutor to look into anything Fast Eddie Rendell ever did?

How long will it take for Senator Menendez to be in jail for raping children? District Attorney Kathleen Kane would have had Menendez in jail by now.

I didn't know that Menendez was in PA. Please do tell about crossing jurisdictions.

Kane a Lackawanna County Democrat? Do you really expect anything to come out of this "special prosecutor" investigation from a former D.A. from the La-La Land Wilkes Barre/Scranton region, a known Penn State stronghold and epicenter of a host of federal inquiries and prosecutions of political and public figures there. See Robert A. Young's Blog For Social Responsibility @ Blogspot.com, a retired former veteran Philly Police Sex Crimes Investigators pieces especially among the 50 plus published there: "Thanks to the Media On Sandusky, Sex Crimes Sleuth Favors New Law, Rendell And Sandusky," As well as many in-depth pieces on policing, media, energy and public affairs.

Evidence against Corbett is specious at best. Investigating a former Attorney General for his handling of the Sandusky case is like investigating a prosecutor for not filing charges against a bank robber BEFORE he went and robbed the bank! Corbett did not know what he knows now what was ongoing at Penn State and Sandusky was a master at hiding what he was doing.

Lets hope this turns out to be the GOP witch hunt against the Clintons, remember White water? Were is a land deal investigation turns into a sexual misconduct trial turns into an impeachment. So, sure, Tommy boy has nothing to worry about: never sent a curious email, never angered anyone close to him, never did nothing. In short, Tommy is toast.

bobcitydoc - don't forget the $63 million that Ken Starr and republicans freely spent on the 'never-ending story'.

Tom Corbett (Registered Trademark & wholly owned subsidiary of Chesapeake Power on loan by special arrangement to Camelot Global) could care less. He's set for life. And line up the special prosecutors, once you dig into this criminal's closet, who knows what stench you'll find.
