SolveMedia's new online-ad solution

Ari Jacoby and his team of Center City-based online-advertisers, SolveMedia, have rolled out an online ad framework for thinking people.

Their firm, SolveMedia, backed by $2 million+ from Chris Fralic's and Josh Kopelman's West Conshohocken-based First Round Capital, today launched a "pre-roll video advertising product" in which you click (say) a YouTube video... and an ad comes on... but, instead of waiting, or mindlessly clicking through... you can blast right past the ad... if you type in the tagline. Descriptor here

"We serve over 100 major brand advertisers from GM and Toyota to InterContinental Hotels Group," through hundreds of publishers including AOL and Tribune Co., says ceo Jacoby.

Jacoby and most of his team formerly worked at Philadelphia-based Voicestar, sold to Marchex for $20 million (corrected) in 2007. Operations chief Max Sobol worked at Gannett Corp.'s Conshy-based PointRoll online ad shop.
