Saxco adds West Coast bottle firm

Saxco International LLC, a Horsham-based company that distributes bottles from manufacturers to North American liquor, wine and craft beer makers, said last week it bought Synergy Glass & Packaging, Benicia, Calif. Chief executive Matthew Malenfant declined to say how much Saxco paid for Synergy or how big the deal makes the combined companies.

Saxco employs 35 in Horsham and other locations in the region, and also has offices in several U.S. cities, England and China. Saxco is owned by Sterling Group of Houston, Texas.
