N3rd St. union: GUIwerks joins Arcweb

"A natural fit"

Arcweb, Christopher Cera's 20-person enterprise-software developer (clients have included PeopleLinx, Zonoff, MakerBot) which moved around the corner last winter from the Independents Hall software incubator at 20 N. 3rd St., to the top floor at 234 Market (the old TLA Video space, just upstairs from Bob Moul's Artisan Mobile), says it's added Johnny Bilotta's GUIwerks (GUI = Graphical User Interface, pronounced Gooey).

"It's a strategic move: We do product development, they are one of Philadelpha's finest product design companies," Cera told me. Together, "we can offer a much larger portfolio of design services, and further position ourselves as one of the region's top product design and development consultancies."

"An awesome moment for my team and I," and "a natural fit," Bilotta added in a statement.
