MedRisk buys West Coast imaging firm

Shelley Boyce's King of Prussia injury rehab firm adds national doctor network

MedRisk Inc., founder Shelley Boyce's King of Prussia-based injury rehab firm, says it has bought Medical Diagnostic Associates Management Inc. (MDIA), Calabasas, Calif., and its "national diagnostic imaging network" of radiologists who are available to analyze test results "24/7." MedRisk won't say what it's paying.

The deal will add MDIA's 40 employees to MedRisk's 384 workers, including 353 in the Philadelphia area. In a statement, co-owner Dr. Ronald J. Friedman said he, co-owner Dr. Gail M. Schlesinger, and other staff will remain with MedRisk.
