Iraq, Pak, Afghan vets seek Philly financial jobs

Investment pros in the Philadelphia and Main Line offices of BNYMellon, Wilmington Trust, Conner Strong & Buckalew, and other financial firm are stopping by Carne Capital's Radnor Financial Center office last Thursday (updated) to interview three recent U.S. millitary service-disabled war veterans seeking work in the financial industry through the Philadelphia-based Wall Street Warfighters foundation.

Candidates include Lance Cpl. Thomas Richardson USMC, a Dartmouth grad (econ, German) wounded when he led an attack on a Toyota truck bomb in Iraqa; Strayer U grad Sitney Bounpraseuth USAF, deployed to Pakistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom; Craigory Brown, an Army Arabic linguist with a political sciendce degree from Columbia; and Efrain Caldera USAF, an acadmey graduate who worked in Space Comand and is prepping for his CFA.
