Iowa firm pays $5.1M for Bucks carpet plant

Future Foam Inc., Council Bluffs, Iowa, has paid $5.1 million to buy the two railroad-side buildings it has used as a carpet cushion manufacturing plant in Penn Warner Industrial Park, Falls Township, Bucks County, for the past four years, says broker Francis T. Roddy. Future Foam paid:

- $2.45 million for 249 Canal Road, a heated, sprinklered, 28' ceiling, 56,100 sq ft on 4.1 acres;

- $2.65 million for 259 Canal Road, a 60,000 sq ft building on 4 acres.
