AIG beats Comcast for 'worst' dishonors at consumer site

"Congratulations to AIG for beating Comcast in this year's final!" writes here. The site, owned by nonprofit Consumers Union, has closed the unscientific online poll for its yearly Worst Company in America contest, after voters chose American International Group, "the economic poster child for irresponsibility and corruption."

Ticketmaster, Peanut Corp. of America, and 26 other nominees trailed. Comcast finished second for the second year in a row, Consumerist noted: "We feel like a runner-up prize is in order."
